Clinical Supervision and Consultation

Overview of Supervision

Brief Therapy Solutions is available for professional supervision and consultation in the Southern Highlands,  South - West Sydney and throughout New South Wales and inter-state upon request on a fee for service basis. All supervision offered by BTS is provided by an Accredited Social Worker. Training workshops are offered across the BTS team.

Practicing Social Workers with membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers attract Continuing Professional Education Points supporting accreditation requirements for supervision activities and attendance at workshop training events.

Participants said:

"External supervision has helped our family work team keep up to date with current issues and approaches."

"My supervision has encouraged me to explore a variety of creative approaches that have helped me work more effectively with my clients."

"Taking time to reflect on my work with clients improved my confidence in working with complex cases."

Professional Supervision

New Graduate Supervision

New Graduate Supervision is specifically aimed at new and recent graduates of Social Work and Social Welfare (two years following graduation). Discounted rates for professional supervision apply to workers in their first two years of practice should there be no organisational sponsorship.

Individual and Group Supervision

BTS offers negotiable arrangements in relation to location, frequency and duration of supervision sessions.

Group supervision is available to teams and services. Agency agreements will need to be considered in respect of confidentiality. Groups and teams will be encouraged to consider their needs and goals for supervision and have the opportunity to develop their own content for reflection if desired. Please note all supervision arrangements are subject to the availability of an appropriate worker.

Our preference is to offer supervision in South Western Sydney and the Southern Highlands and the Illawarra regions.

Service Consultation
